The board voted to adopt changes to the Associated Students Child Development Center. The center is moving away from charging by the hour and will instead offer both part-time and full-time care options for student parents.

Board members also voted to table a proposal to rebuild the pavilion in The Outback Farm until more definitive costs of the project could be presented. Outback Coordinator Nick Spring was in attendance and reported that the total cost of the project will be more than the $25,000 he requested in his proposal. The final total will likely be around $35,000.

Representatives from the AS Legal Information Center presented a proposal for a dispute mediation program. Then Remy Levin, AS elections coordinator, submitted a revised AS election code and answered questions from board members. Both of these proposals will be voted on in future meetings.

AS Board of Directors meetings are open to the public. They are usually held at 6 p.m. every Wednesday in VU 567. More information can be found online at  gov.as.wwu.edu.
