Are you having trouble finding a job during these tough economic times? Tired of dead-end work, bad tips and wishing you could quit at the end of each day? The Associated Students has a solution and a paycheck waiting for students that are eager to get involved at Western.

Starting March 3, the AS is accepting applications for positions within the Personnel Office, Ethnic Student Center, Resource and Outreach Programs, Outdoor Center, AS Productions and the Publicity Center as well as staff positions at KVIK and KUGS, the student-run television and radio stations—not to mention positions with The AS Review.

For any student interested in applying for a job within the AS, you must first decide what kind of job you’d like to work. Some positions are salaried and others are hourly wage. Either way, both forms can be picked up in the Personnel Office at VU 505. After grabbing the necessary paperwork from the file cabinet by the door, you need to fill out a form and provide any necessary resumes or portfolios. Experience in a particular field isn’t necessarily required for all positions, but it is advised.
Brief descriptions of all AS jobs available from March 3 to April 8 can be found at:
