The Dean’s Lecture Series: “Cyberbullying: What Parents and Teachers Should Know” Professor David Sattler’s presentation will describe the potential emotional, psychological, and behavioral consequences of cyberbullying for both the perpetrator and victim, how to recognize the warning signs, how to respond, and he’ll suggest strategies to minimize cyberbullying. Dr. Sattler conducts research that examines how people respond to traumatic events and normative influences in a variety of situations. He and his students have been examining cyberbullying and the influence of social norms on the internet.
