February 6-7th the Office of Sustainability is hosting Western Washington University’s first ever Washington Higher Education Sustainability Conference (WAHESC). This event is going to be HUGE! WAHESC will explore ways to advance campus sustainability through the sharing of best practices, presentation of cutting edge examples of creative solutions to common challenges, and the development of regional collaborative networks. Attendees will gain new ideas, analyze sustainability management programs, build relationships, share transferable lessons with peers, and endeavor to form a more united coalition to support key statewide sustainability approaches, goals and policy initiatives. The goal of the student summit is share ideas of how to engage campus students in environmental issues and sustainability. Ticket information: * all sales end Feb. 5 General Admission - $200 General Admission (single day) - $120 Faculty/Staff - $150 Faculty/Staff (single day) - $90 Student- $50 Student (singel day) - $35 Registration includes a light breakfast, lunch & beverages both days.
