Upcoming Shows
Throne
A VU Gallery Exhibit showcasing Western's chair collection
April 29th - May 17th
Throne is about bringing attention to something we rarely think about – where we choose to sit. Chairs support us, comfort us, discomfort us… They make up the topography of the environment around us, and every chair was designed, developed, or penned by an individual or team seeking to provide that very service of support. The name “Throne” stems from the valuation of these objects in their role of support.
Opening Reception on May 1st, 6-8pm in VU 507. Please join us for coffee and light refreshments.
