Viqueen Lodge

We greatly value the support and interests from all users of the Associated Student’s Viqueen Lodge. While we continue to update the cabin and redevelop a programmed approach to enhance the user’s experience, the Viqueen Lodge will be closed indefinitely to private use.

If you have a Western affiliated group and would like to schedule a visit during the summer or fall, please contact Frederick Collins, or call 360-650-3731 for more information.

The Viqueen Lodge is located on an L-shaped piece of land thirteen acres in area, on the southwest side of Sinclair Island. With approximately 800 square feet of living space, the cabin boasts a large common area, kitchen and three bedrooms. Originally purchased in the 1920's by the Women's Physical Education Association, the Viqueen Lodge is funded and managed by the Associated Students of Western Washington University. The cabin is barn red, has a small front porch, and a sign welcoming visitors to Viqueen Lodge.
