Spring is the time to climb! There's nothing like standing at the peak of 10,877 feet and knowing that you just scaled it. This excursion includes one day of basic mountaineering instruction along with the climb itself. No mountaineering experience is required but good physical fitness and prior backpacking experience is a must.

The new edition of Jeopardy Magazine, Western Washington University's annual literary arts publication, will be released on May 21st in Viking Union 565 A, B, and C. The party will feature readings by writers published in the magazine and the webzine, including faculty Carlos Martinez, Timothy Pilgrim, and Kami Westhoff; students Rose Slaton, Jory Mickelson, and alumnus Aylen Paul Rounds. All who attend will receive a copy of Jeopardy Magazine. Refreshments are provided and the event is free and open to the public.
As the marriage debate rages on, this new film by Drew Emery goes beyond the rhetoric to explore just what it means to be married. There will be a question and answer session with the director after the show.

Galbraith Mountain in the Chuckanuts will introduce you to what mountain biking in the Northwest is all about. The trail systems have something for everyone so there's no excuse not to get out there!
