CHSS Mission, Vision, and Goals/Objectives Ad Hoc Writing Committee

The ad hoc writing committee’s task is to revise the current CHSS mission and strategic plan objectives to align with Western’s recently revised Strategic Plan 2018-2024, while ensuring these CHSS statements continue to reflect the unique strengths and distinctive character of our college. Western’s revised strategic plan has three main components: (a) mission, (b) vision, and (c) goals with subsidiary objectives. I ask the ad hoc committee to draft three counterpart documents for CHSS, and revise subsequent drafts in response to feedback solicited from all CHSS constituencies. Final versions of the three documents will be reviewed and approved by FAC, for recommendation to the Dean and Provost. The Provost’s office requests that we complete this work by the end of the current academic year, if possible.
