Regular ASWWU Senate Meetings for Fall 2026 will be held every week on Wednesdays (except University Holidays), starting September 30th from 4pm-5:30pm in VU567, online attendance available using Teams TownHall - Link in Meeting Agendas
What is the AS Senate?
The Student Senate primarily represents students in academic areas, including academic department policies, curriculum design, assessments, and academic support services. Two Student Senators are elected to serve as representatives for their College. For instance, the College of Business and Economics has two Student Senators who advocate for the students within that college.
Student Senators’ responsibilities include participating in academic committees, meeting with their student constituents, and working alongside faculty and administration to address and fulfill the needs of their college's students.
