The WWU Food Systems Working Group, advisory to the Director of University Residences, comprised of representatives from student leadership and organizations, faculty, and staff,promotes sustainable purchases composed of real food, community-based, and regionally-sourced food purchases. The work of the Food Systems Working Group will be guided by the spirit and intent of the Real Food Challenge Commitment. The Food Systems Working Group will assist the University in developing and coordinating implementation of Western Washington University’s local, ecologically sound, fair and humane food policy.
