Western Lobby Day

Speak to legislators in Olympia about student issues and present the ASWWU Legislative Agenda (the 2019 agenda was approved on December 6th) by the AS Executive Board of Directors.

All transportation, lodging and food will be paid for! That's right, it's FREE. Why would you not go?

No school will be missed for General Lobby day because it is held on MLK Day.

Western Intersectional Lobby Day (WILD) is hosted by the Ethnic Student Center, Student Advocacy and Identity Resource Center and Environmental and Sustainability Programs where students ravel Olympia to meet with state legislators on important issues (WILD's 2019's agenda was approved on February 7th) by the AS Executive Board of Directors

WILD is held on President's Day week so you will not miss school and is also FREE.

Check out the Office of Civic Engagement or email the 2020 student lobbyist Jude Ahmed (as.legislative.liaison@wwu.edu) for more ways to get civically involved!
